RC2 Radio Receiver Card
The Radio Receiver Card (RC2) acts as a special line card in the system - it receives encoded messages from an UHF radio (440..450MHz). The RC2 Card can handle up to 2 radio receivers, which enables it to monitor 2 radio channels simultaneously. The reception, decoding, storing and forwarding of the messages work similar to the LC2 Line Cards. The Radio Card is also capable of stand-alone operation in case the connection with the CPM2 fails - it can store up to 500 messages in its non-volatile buffer.
